Daruma Genmou is a DK weight yarn with a unique 3-ply construction that creates an airy, lightweight strand with a softly textured surface. One ply consists of loosely carded, minimally twisted wool, while the other two are finer, tightly spun threads that hold the structure together. This gives the yarn a lofty, almost cloud-like feel while maintaining cohesion and strength. The merino provides softness and warmth, while the construction creates a gently wavy strand that softens stitch edges and produces a smooth, fluid fabric. It works up into a fabric with lightness, warmth, and a softly diffused finish.
